Controller and purpose

The controller is Yan Dobromyslov in Portugal. Search Angle uses the information you volunteer to answer a business enquiry, assess the enquiry, and preserve the correspondence needed to answer it. The lawful basis is legitimate interests.

Enquiry data is not reused for marketing.

What is collected

The form asks for your name, work email, the problem you want to discuss and, optionally, a website. The enquiry record also stores the recognised Search Angle page path carried into the form, without its query string, fragment or referrer. Cloudflare Turnstile processes network, browser and request signals to distinguish people from automated abuse. Search Angle does not store the Turnstile token in the enquiry record or technical event log.

Do not submit passwords, payment details, or special-category personal information.

Processors and data flow

• Local storage and Proton Drive

  The submitted record and technical consult-event metadata live in a private local SQLite database. Restricted backup copies are stored in Proton Drive, where file contents and names are end-to-end encrypted.

• Cloudflare

  Serves the site, runs Turnstile and forwards direct email through Email Routing. Cloudflare acts as the practice's processor when protecting the form and as a separate controller when it uses Turnstile signals to improve that service.

• Google

  Delivers the practice's minimal operator notification, containing the site, form source, record ID and submission time but not the form answers, and hosts the mailbox used for replies and privacy requests. Direct email to info@searchangle.com is forwarded to that mailbox through Cloudflare Email Routing.

Optional website demand check

Read a requested public homepage, suggest services and searches, and retrieve demand estimates to compare suggested services in a supported market, or check visitor-selected searches and a market. Show an editable revenue scenario using reported search data and explicit assumptions. The check does not submit an enquiry or create marketing correspondence.

Cloudflare protects and forwards the request. The submitted URL and public homepage text are sent to DeepSeek for AI suggestions; selected search terms and the market are sent to DataForSEO. The URL, supported snippets, selection and result are held in private local storage. A random access key stays in this browser tab's session storage so a reload can retrieve the same check. Economic scenario edits are calculated in the browser and are not sent to us.

Use a public business homepage. Do not enter a private document, account link or URL containing passwords or personal tokens. AI suggestions can contain errors. Check the service and market shown with the result; an office location may not be the whole market you serve.

Access to the result expires 30 minutes after the check starts. Expired payloads are cleared from active storage during routine maintenance. Daily abuse and spending records, restricted database backups and provider observations have separate retention; this is not a promise that every copy is deleted after 30 minutes.

DataForSEO's policy states that API task data is retained for 365 days. DeepSeek's API terms govern its processing; a result expiring here does not delete provider records.

International processing

The active database remains on private local infrastructure, but the cloud providers and their subprocessors may process information outside the European Economic Area. For restricted transfers, Proton's, Cloudflare's terms incorporate the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Cloudflare also identifies the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for eligible US transfers; Google identifies adequacy decisions, including that framework, and standard contractual clauses where required. Retention

The form record is retained for 12 months from submission. Technical consult-event metadata is retained for 30 days.

Google receives the minimal operator notification when the form is submitted and stores that notification and any later correspondence without a fixed automatic mailbox-deletion period.

Deleted form records and technical consult-event metadata can remain temporarily in local periodic disaster-recovery backups until rotation. These copies are not used for ordinary operations.

Your choices and rights

You may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Send the request to info@searchangle.com. Enough information may be needed to identify the relevant record without collecting unrelated data.

You may also complain to Portugal's supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados.

Changes

This notice will be updated when the form, processors, purposes or retention practices materially change.
