GUIDE 01 / SEO STRATEGY

An SEO strategy is a sequence of owned decisions.

A channel wish list becomes a strategy only when it says which opportunity matters, which public surface should own it, what must change, who can release that change and what evidence would reopen the decision.

THE DECISION RECORD

Start with the consequence the business actually wants.

The company supplies the objective, valuable demand, economics and constraints. A page decision defines the reader job; technical SEO carries it into production; reporting tests the decision; and an SEO retainer retains the context when the work stays active.

01 / Objective
The business event or capability the work should support.
02 / Opportunity
The observed demand and result type, including the evidence boundary.
03 / Owner
The one page or public surface responsible for the reader's job.
04 / Change
The smallest coherent content, architecture or technical intervention.
05 / Delivery
The person and system that can publish the complete dependency.
06 / Review
The release proof, observation window and condition that warrants reconsideration.

PRIORITY

Demand is evidence of an opportunity, not its order in the queue.

Priority combines business value, evidence strength, strategic fit, implementation cost and dependency risk. One public surface owns the reader job, and its dependencies enter the sequence before work that assumes it already exists.

DEPENDENCY ORDER

Sequence the work by what must become true first.

A content, engineering and measurement backlog can describe the same decision from three departments. The dependency decides the order.

  1. Demand

Establish the reader job and the viable result type.

  2. Ownership

Choose the page and remove unresolved competition.

  3. Evidence

Secure the facts, proof and business input the proposition requires.

  4. Delivery

Change every producing layer needed for one coherent release.

  5. Observation

Verify publication, then read search and business signals at their proper scope.

RECONSIDERATION

Change the strategy when its decision changes.

  • New business truth

The offer, economics, capacity or approved claims alter which demand is valuable or supportable.

  • New evidence

Demand, results, performance or business outcomes change the observed opportunity.

  • Delivery contradiction

The release cannot implement the decision without a dependency, cost or risk the record omitted.
